Breath of Life Yoga Studio

These days I'm about as flexible as a frozen rubber band and a recent shoot for Breath of Life yoga studio made me quite aware of this fact. I wasn't always this way, in university during soccer season I could actually touch my toes, now I'm lucky to reach my shins. In any case, this shoot (and the post shoot soreness) has inspired me to do more stretching, and meditation...maybe I should just attend some of their classes.

Siblings

If Alaska had a brother it would be named Chile and their sister would be Argentina. A few months back I had the opportunity to tag along on a motorcycle trip from Terra Del Fuego to Santiago for about 4 weeks of adventure. Not knowing much about the area, other than that it was the land of the Tango, Malbec wine, and some big mountains, my expectations were quickly blown out of the water. Massive peaks rise from the ocean, while glaciers ever so slowly sink into it. The people are some of the friendliest I've met, while the food is top notch (warning: I ate more meat and bread in 4 weeks, than I had in the last 2 years). The trip itself went off "relatively" smoothly, with only a few dropped bikes and one broken collar bone. I'm currently editing a short film trailer from the trip, so I'll post it up here soon. Meanwhile, enjoy these snaps!

So I've been playing around with some of the pictures from Tombstones, but I haven't had as much time to focus on them as I would like due to work and of course visiting my friends while I'm still up here in the Yukon. I'm pretty happy with how these turned out and now I'm thinking of putting a show together in this style. I suppose I'd need more shots of say Kluane or the Chilkoot or other Yukon areas, but I think it would turn out to be a pretty cool show. Anyways here is a sample of a few to give you an idea of what is to come. enjoy.
