Jay & The FT's

Here's a little video I shot for my friend's band Jay & The FT's. They held a benefit concert for a local Boston charity called The Jimmy Fund, and managed to raise over $3000 in a single night.

A Day in the Life of....

I had the opportunity to work with TimeDoc once again when they assigned me to follow a Chinese Harvard Student that is doing his Phd in Urban Planning. I didn't follow him in a creepy he didn't know about it way; instead we basically hung out together for the day and I shot him doing things like going to his dance class, meeting peers, advisors, etc.  It was interesting to get a glimpse into his daily life and a behind the scenes look at Harvard...

Here is a link to the video; and a few screen grabs.

NY State of Mind

New York City has a lasting impression. Walking the streets there is like no other place I've experienced before. The towering buildings that loom over the the rivers of people bustling below, are reminiscent of the Grand Canyon. Although we only had two days there, I can't wait to get back! Here's a collage of sorts that I put together to represent the madness, and beauty that is NY City. Enjoy!

Once again I stumbled upon this image in my archives and thought I'd throw it up on the ol' blog. This was taken at Antelope Canyon near Page Arizona, while I was on a motorcycle trip a few years back. I may print it out super BIG and see how it looks.

Head of The Charles

This past week I had the opportunity to work with a Chinese documentary company called Time Docs (http://www.timedoc.tv/en/). We followed a crew of Chinese rowers that were in town to compete in the annual Head of The Charles Regatta. Here are a few screen grabs off my GoPro that we had mounted onto the boats for the race. They later saw my Hell on Wheels trailer and wanted me to edit this piece in a similar style. Since shooting the spot, I've found out that one of the main people we focused on is a pretty big deal in China - he's the C.E.O. of Vanke, which is one of the largest real-estate developers in the world! This gig has got me thinking I should really brush up on my Mandarin!
