Westside Studio came all the way from Toronto to shoot a commercial for ECO Canada. I was brought on board as the 2nd AC. It was a beautiful day of shooting out on the Wheaton River...I just wish I had time to throw a few flies in the water!
CPAC: Outburst
I was hired by CPAC to do a quick news segment on the new Kwanlin Dun First Nation baseball field that is being partially funded by the Toronto Blue Jays, and how the field is an example of Truth and Reconciliation.
Indigenous Journeys Through Academia
I recently was brought on as the editor for an educational documentary about Indigenous students ' experienced in academia. It touches upon the factors that lead to higher dropout rates than non-Indigenous students and how institutions can support indigenous students throughout their academic careers. I was also brought on board to help light and shoot the main studio interview with Angela.
"Northern Lights" Nominated for CBC Indigenous Music Award!
Our music video "Northern Lights" has been nominated for a CBC Indigenous Music Award! The competition is steep but it's an honour to be nominated amongst such legendary artists as Buffy Saint Marie. Many thanks again to Cody Coyote & Vision Quest for trusting me with their art and bringing me on board for this awesome project!

Special Olympics
I ran into my friend Alistair Maitland (https://www.alistairmaitland.com) a few weeks ago at a coffee shop and he mentioned he had a cool gig for Special Olympics Yukon coming up that he wanted me to help shoot. They wanted to riff on James Cordon's popular Car Pool Karaoke videos - it sounded like fun so I was in! We used local CKRW radio hosts Moira & Bobby as well as some of the athletes and a coach, to advertise their annual fundraising event. The event is on April 7th and for more info check out their website here: http://www.specialolympicsyukon.ca
