Head of The Charles

This past week I had the opportunity to work with a Chinese documentary company called Time Docs (http://www.timedoc.tv/en/). We followed a crew of Chinese rowers that were in town to compete in the annual Head of The Charles Regatta. Here are a few screen grabs off my GoPro that we had mounted onto the boats for the race. They later saw my Hell on Wheels trailer and wanted me to edit this piece in a similar style. Since shooting the spot, I've found out that one of the main people we focused on is a pretty big deal in China - he's the C.E.O. of Vanke, which is one of the largest real-estate developers in the world! This gig has got me thinking I should really brush up on my Mandarin!

Sizzle Reel

Here's a "Sizzle Reel" for a documentary that I'm hoping to get made next summer titled "The New Gold Rush". Check it out.

K & B

Here are some photos taken the other week at Karin & Bryce's wedding. It was a beautiful day and as you can see the wedding had a great "vintage" style to it. Enjoy!

Photoshop Funk

I shot this one night after watching Disney's Lion King. What a strange coincidence!! For some reason it seems Simba has decided he needs more funk in his style. I agree.

MoonStruck Cheese Farm

My girlfriend and I were recently invited to the Moonstruck Organic Cheese Farm on Saltspring Island. It was nice to hang out with the cows (which for whatever reason thought my camera was the most interesting thing in the world), and get an idea of what life is like on a cheese farm. In the morning we were awoken by our noisy neighbors, as they Moo'd for their breakfast. We ended up shooting some quick product photos for the company to use in their marketing. Here are some selections. Enjoy!
