Make Do and Mend

Here's a link to a music video I was key grip on here in Boston a few months back. It was a very quick shoot (about 6 hours), DP'd by Edwin Figueroa and directed by Kevin Maistros for Colograde Productions. Shot on the Red Epic in a cool little warehouse a few blocks from my house.

UPDATE: 1/4 million views and counting - not bad!

Enjoy!

Pitch and Putt

Here's a pitch video for a feature documentary that I'm hoping to shoot this summer. It's titled The New Gold Rush and will follow a number of people involved in the gold industry in the Yukon.  Look for an IndiGoGo campaign soon. (There's also more info on older blog posts).

Connor

Well I'm back in Vancouver for a short stay and just in time to do a quick shoot with Alix & Tam's new baby boy Connor. This was my first baby shoot and I've always heard the saying that "there's two things you don't want to shoot; animals & babies!" (meaning you never know what you're going to get with them. I have to say though Connor was a real pro throughout the whole shoot and only demanded a quick nap about an hour in. Here's some of the results!

SAMtours Spot

Here's a link to a short video I shot for South America Motorcycle tours the other month. It was shot during a 4 week trip from Terra Del Fuego to Santiago and it highlights adventure, camaraderie, and the local Chilean/Argentine landscape and people. An epic trip on all levels!

Enjoy!

Siblings

If Alaska had a brother it would be named Chile and their sister would be Argentina. A few months back I had the opportunity to tag along on a motorcycle trip from Terra Del Fuego to Santiago for about 4 weeks of adventure. Not knowing much about the area, other than that it was the land of the Tango, Malbec wine, and some big mountains, my expectations were quickly blown out of the water. Massive peaks rise from the ocean, while glaciers ever so slowly sink into it. The people are some of the friendliest I've met, while the food is top notch (warning: I ate more meat and bread in 4 weeks, than I had in the last 2 years). The trip itself went off "relatively" smoothly, with only a few dropped bikes and one broken collar bone. I'm currently editing a short film trailer from the trip, so I'll post it up here soon. Meanwhile, enjoy these snaps!
