I was on the ol' Facebook the other day and a sponsored ad came across my feed for National Geographic Channel's Dr. Oakley: Yukon Vet show. Lo and behold, they were using one of the photos I took of her while shooting a Behind the Scenes video for them in the fall of 2014 (it's the one at the top/banner). Anyways, thought that was pretty cool.

Yukon Community Living Association got in touch a few weeks ago looking to create a video that featured Yukon employers and job seekers from their Ready, Willing & Able program. The video aims to encourage employers to hire people with disabilities. Over two days we shot a number of interviews and footage of employees with disabilities as they went about their daily jobs. From a grocery store cashier, to a self-employed dog walker and janitor, themes of teamwork, accomplishment and pride were highlighted throughout the shoot. Here are a few screen grabs. I recently started editing a "non-corporate" Show Reel for this year's Available Light Film Festival (http://yukonfilmsociety.com/alff) and came across a short film I DOP'd for a Film School buddy and my cousin a few years back. Here are a few screen grabs from a recent video I did for Kidz First Canada (http://kidzfirstcanada.org/about/); a charity that supports after school programs in the Vancouver area. The focus of the video was on why their board members chose to get involved.
